My previous parents were moving and couldn't take me with them. They reached out to Snoot Farms, who happily took me in. I think it's because I'm so pretty!
When I first got to Snoot Farms, I was confused and had to make new friends with six ducks and a chicken. They are my roommates. We get along great now, but I had to tell them I was the boss early on so no one would get confused. Now, the chicken and I are best friends. Her name is Tina, but we all call her Chicken anyway.
A lot of people ask me what I like to do in my spare time. Well, I like to eat my mom's plants and wait on her back porch until she comes out to give me treats. If she doesn't come out soon enough, I usually poop on the rug to tell her how much I miss her. She must love her presents because she makes very loud noises when she steps in them!
I also like to roam around the backyard and pretend I'm a dinosaur. I like to run after my mom and dad, too, just to see what they're doing and to check if they have treats for me.
I'm very punctual and if my mom and dad don't feed me and put me to bed on time, I fly up into the black walnut tree with Chicken and stay there for the night. It's right over the coop though so we don't go far.
People also ask me what I like to eat. I really like fruits and veggies and... raisins! I'm not too picky really. I even like to eat the burrs my mom gets stuck to her pant legs. Plus, I'm being helpful. And don't get me started on the bugs. They don't stand a chance with the amazing eyesight I have!
Did you know that I have a beard? People think that's weird, but I think there are other things in nature that are way weirder. Anyway, about 10% of us female turkeys (also known as hens) have a beard. It is black and looks like a ponytail coming out of our chest! I think it makes me look beautiful. Maybe I'll let my mom braid it one day.
I like to talk too. A lot of times I just mutter to myself, but if we get visitors I like to chat loudly. Come by and see me. I would love to talk to you and ask you if you have any treats.
